Tour Consultant – Moa Trek
MoaTrek is an established leader in New Zealand small group travel. Due to our ongoing success, we have a fantastic opportunity to recruit an additional Tour Consultant as part of a tight-knit, dynamic and fun team.
About the Role
The primary focus of this role is to fill tour departures, achieve high levels of accuracy and build excellent relationships with clients and other team members.
Key Accountabilities:
Working as part of the Sales Team to achieve sales targets.
Communicating with empathy to build a rapport with sales targets and enquiries and create a welcoming experience – creating the impression ‘we are looking forward to seeing you and we will look after you!’
Providing Operations and Sales support efficiently, effectively and with exceptional attention to detail.
Contribute to the company’s success by delivering on individual goals and KPI’s.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a travel or tour sales role.
Proven track record in making outbound sales calls and the ability to function effectively in a team environment.
Extensive knowledge of New Zealand and a real passion for selling the best small group tours in New Zealand, ensuring clients enjoy an outstanding experience.
Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems.
Outstanding attention to detail.

Note: Our Sales Team operates 7 days a week (on a roster), so please only apply if you can be flexible to cover up to 12 weekends per year in Sales and Operations Support.
